Feat's fabled collaborators have included Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Beck, Brian Wilson, Bonnie Raitt, Robert Plant, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Lang, and Leftover Salmon (for whom Bill Payne recently produced an album). BROCK McGUIRE BAND

Performing with the BROCK McGUIRE BAND on upcoming tours will be two prominent guest musicians: young Galway player Enda Scahill, a five-time All-Ireland champion on mandolin, and Denis Morrison, an acclaimed Aberdeen-based pianist who's previously recorded with Manus McGuire. The former founders and leaders of the renowned band "Moving Cloud" have forged an exciting new band, the "Brock-McGuire Band". Paul Brock (button accordion) and Manus McGuire (fiddle) are two of Ireland's most acclaimed traditional musicians, with numerous All-Ireland Championships and recording honors to their credit. 

They are now joined by two of Ireland's finest young musicians, Enda Scahill, a five-time All-Ireland Champion on tenor banjo and senior All-Ireland Champion on mandolin, and Denis Morrison, an acclaimed pianist and one of the pre-eminent accompanists of his generation.

Téada's characteristic lively blend of instrumentals and vocals in the traditional Irish idiom has seen the band evolve into one of the busiest bands in the traditional music scene in recent times. Having first come to attention through an appearance on the innovative Irish television series, Flosc, in 2001, Téada, went on to undertake highly successful tours of the United States and Finland and Germany throughout their initial year as a band. An extensive promotional tour of the US took place during June 2002, including a headline appearance at the Potomac Celtic Festival, VA and performances in many major cities including New York, Boston, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The first six months of 2003 have already brought extensive touring activity throughout the United States, Canada, Austria, Italy and the United Kingdom, with audiences hearing for the first time, an expanded 5-member line-up featuring accordionist Paul Finn from Laois. After a number of festival
 performances over the summer months, the band depart on a September/October 40 day tour of the United States and Canada, returning to Ireland just in time to collect the "Best Traditional Newcomers 2003" award from Irish Music Magazine, at a special awards ceremony to be held at The National Concert Hall, Dublin on October 7th 2003.

ROBIN & LINDA WILLIAMS

For more than a quarter of a century, Virginia-based singers and songwriters Robin and Linda Williams have delighted audiences large and small with their blend of bluegrass, traditional mountain folk ballads, Southern gospel, country, and hillbilly blues that truly merits the title of "American music." As performers, Robin and Linda are second to none, having appeared on such programs as The Grand Ole Opry, Austin City Limits, Music City Tonight, and Mountain Stage, as well as being frequent guest performers on A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. They have gained recognition from a variety of sources, winning a 1995 Gospel Record of the Year nomination from their colleagues at the International Bluegrass Music Association for their CD Good News, as well as a Gold Star award for Best Contemporary Folk CD of 1998 from Crossroads' Music.

Just released, Robin and Linda's new CD, Deeper Waters, is a selection of songs that has been described as "nothing more than a masterpiece" by the All Music Guide. The Boston Globe has proclaimed "Robin & Linda shine like a diamond amid rhinestones ... they give the listeners chills." Of their songwriting, Billboard has credited them with "lyrics that pluck at the nerve center of emotional experiences."

Joined by Jim Watson - a founding member of the Red Clay Ramblers - on bass and distinctive harmony vocals, and bluegrass veteran Jimmy Gaudreau on mandolin and mandola, Robin & Linda Williams & Their Fine Group promise an exhilarating concert experience for the entire family!

MAURA O'CONNELL

Born Sept. 16, 1958, and raised in County Clare, Ireland, Maura O'Connell was the third of four singing sisters. However, it wasn't ancient Celt folk tunes in which that household was drenched but their singing mother's collection of light opera, opera and parlor song records. As a young woman, she joined the tradition-oriented Celtic band DeDannan but grew intrigued by the experimental roots music of America's New Grass Revival when the bands' paths crossed. 

In 1986, she followed that sound to America — and to Nashville. Newgrass masters such as banjoist Bela Fleck and Dobro stylist Jerry Douglas (who has appeared on all of O'Connell's discs but one) and a floating contingent of adventurous Nashville hands have provided backup and production for most of her recorded work — including the Grammy-nominated Helpless Heart and Blue Is the Color of Hope for Warner Bros., Stories and the Irish-oriented Wandering Home for Hannibal/Rykodisc, Walls and Windows and Don't I Know for Sugar Hill.

Regarded as one of Nashville's finest musical interpreters and one who prefers songs that other people haven't recorded yet, O'Connell has gathered material from acclaimed writers such as Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin, John Gorka, Patty Griffin, Jim Lauderdale, Kim Richey, Leslie Satcher, Ron Sexsmith, Mindy Smith and Cheryl Wheeler, to name a few. 

Aside from the music world, Martin Scorsese cast O'Connell, scruffed up for the role, as an Irish émigré street singer in his 19th century epic The Gangs of New York, released in 2002. She has also sung background vocals for a number of artists, including Van Morrison's 1988 project with the Chieftains, Irish Heartbeat.
