CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

Seeking 40- to 50-year-old women of all ethnicities who sing and dance =
to act as future Equity replacements for the following roles:

Power Woman: She's in a position of power and has earned every dollar =
working twice as hard as her male counterparts. A control freak, she has =
little patience with the havoc that menopause is reeking on her life. =
Sings parodies of "What's Love Got to Do with It," "Chain of Fools," and =
"The Great Pretender," among others.

=20

Earthmother: A very healthy survivor of the '60s, an herbalist and =
astrologist. The most playful of the four characters, she doesn't get =
angry and is not self-conscious about who she is, though she doesn't get =
much sleep either, thanks to the Change. Sings parodies of "The Lion =
Sleeps Tonight," "Puff the Magic Dragon," and "Sign of the Times," among =
others.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 17th, from 1-5 PM at the 14th =
Street Theatre, 2037 E. 14th Street in downtown Cleveland. Those =
attending should bring sheet music for a pop song from the 50s-80s, a =
headshot and resume, and be prepared to move. Non-Equity actors who are =
looking for an opportunity to join the union are encouraged to audition.
