On Saturday evening September 4, Bluegrass Legend Jesse McReynolds & The
Virginia Boys with opening act JP & The Chatfield Boys will be performing at
THE ROSE Concert Hall in Medina. The show will start at 8PM. Tickets are
$15.

Jesse ranks as one of the three most influential mandolin players in the
history of Bluegrass along with the late Bill Monroe and Jethro Burns.
Together with his brother Jim (Jim & Jesse) recorded and performed together
until Jim's passing. Their numerous honors include induction into the
Country Music Hall of Fame's "Walkway of Stars", the Virginia Country Music
Hall of Fame, IBMA's Hall of Honor, and Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Hall of
Fame. They also received the National Heritage Fellowship Award from the
National Endowment for the Arts, presented by Hillary Rodham Clinton and
Jane Alexander at the The White House, September 23, 1997. This is the folk
and traditional art's most prestigious honor.
