Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre (CCDT)
Consort! Program 04-05

We're not looking for excellent dancers.  We're looking to  train dancers to 
be excellent!

When:    September 2, 4:30-6pm

Where:   School of Cleveland Contemporary Dance  Theatre at 
               Karamu  House
               2355  East 89th Street, Upper Dance Studio

Who:       M/F youth ages 12-18,  No Prior dance experience needed.
               Come  to the audition prepared to move in tights, leotards or 
               semi-loose  fitting comfortable clothing.

CCDT will be holding auditions for its 2004-2005 Consort! program  and for 
full and partial scholarships to attend the School of Cleveland  Contemporary 
Dance Theatre at the Karamu House.  

Consort! is an after-school program that provides comprehensive dance  
training, life skills and supports literacy based activities for youth ages  12-18.  
Candidates for the Consort! program must possess a strong  desire to dance, 
willingness to learn new skills and be dedicated to the rigors  of this 
rewarding program.  

Beyond training, consort! participants will have performing opportunities  
throughout the year and even the opportunity to perform with the professional  
company of Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre, Michael Medcalf  
executive/artistic director.

CCDT's 04-05 Consort! program is funded by The Cleveland Foundation, The  
George Gund Foundation, The United Black Fund, The Kulas Foundation, The Thomas  
White Foundation and The Cleveland Browns Foundation.
