The Rainbow Repertory Company announces open auditions for RAISIN IN THE =
SUN to be held Saturday, September 11th from 10 a.m. to noon at the =
Stark County Library - 715 Market North, Canton.

Production director will be Sean Reid, producer/director of the film =
REDEMPTION, an award winning production, currently in video stores.

RAISIN IN THE SUN will be performed at the Canton Players Guild on Jan. =
9, 13, 15, 16, 17.  There will be a student performance on Jan. 13.
3 African American women - 20-60
4 African American men - 30-60
1 young African American boy - 10-12
1 white man 30-60

The Cassidy Theater in Parma Heights is presenting the Tony Award winning musical "Big River".  There is still a need for musicians to fill the following roles-

Percussion (Drums)  

Violin and/or fiddle player

Guitar-someone with  AE (acoustic/electric) preferred.  Acoustic acceptable and if can play banjo that would be even better.   

Second keyboard player


PERFORMANCE DATES-SEPT 16,17,18,19,24,25,26,OCT 1,2,3,8,9,10  Shows on Thurs/Fri/Sat are at 8PM and shows on Sun are at 3PM.  There will be some rehearsals scheduled prior to performances.
