The Players Guild Theatre of Canton Presents Footloose, the first show =
of the 2004/2005 season.  The production team has brought together an =
energetic, talented cast that will leap on to the MainStage and =
brilliantly explore the freedom of movement. =20

A small conservative town with an anti-dance law is shaken when a young =
rebel, played by Josh Gordon in his Players Guild d=E9but, enters the =
scene. Guild veteran, Elysia Shutrump, last seen on our stage in Les =
Miserables, joins in the force, and fancy footwork ensues when the =
teenagers band together and fight for the right to dance!   =20

The Players Guild has assembled a dynamic production team from the =
Cleveland professional theatre circuit.  Guest Director, Paul Floriano, =
professional director & actor, has worked at the Cleveland Playhouse and =
recently played the role of the engineer in Miss Saigon at the Beck =
Center for the Arts.  Ryan Bergeron, Musical Director, is a graduate of =
Baldwin Wallace, and has worked at many regional and professional =
theatres, including Carousel & the Cleveland Playhouse.  Ryan is =
currently performing in A Street Car Named Desire at Porthouse Theatre.  =
Choreographer Leilani Barrett, professional actor & dancer, was Artistic =
Director at Cleveland School of arts and Educational Coordinator for the =
Ohio Ballet.  Rounding off the production team are The Players Guild's =
own Josh Erichsen, Production Designer, and Joe Carmola, Technical =
Director.=20

Footloose opens at The Players Guild Theatre on September 10 and runs =
through September 26. Performances are 8:00 p.m. on Fridays & Saturdays =
and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $17, and can be purchased by =
