Feature Length Independent / Low Budget Film. 

 Location - South Eastern Michigan during the spring and summer of 2005.

 Genre - Western 

 Title: Wages of Sin 

** Ability to ride a horse is a Bonus, but not a requirement. 

** SAG and non-professional lo/no/deferred contracts are available.  

** Please come with an audition piece prepared.  We will also do cold
readings from the script.  

 Principle Characters 

 1) Groggy: Male - Caucasian, 30-45.  Half breed Mexican ( must be able
to effect a Mexican accent ). Slightly chubby, not obese. Looks as
though he should be a tough character to deal with, but is actually
pretty spineless and desperate when push comes to shove, but devious all
the same. Greed drives him more than anything. 

2) Cardamiel: Male - Caucasian, 35-45. This man has lived a hard life,
never had a break and drifts from place to place in search of a warm
meal and some compassion; he rarely finds either one. 

3) Joe, The Gunslinger: Male, Caucasian, 35 -55. Tall, tough, weather
beaten man with little to say unless you're foolish enough to cross him.
Has dedicated the last half of his life to the pursuit of one man. Now
that he finds himself on the eve of confronting him; he begins to wonder
just what he'll do when his long journey is over. 

4) The Priest: Male, 40 +. Man on his deathbed who has just suffered a
terrible trauma. His last thoughts are for his lost wife. Very
emotional. 

5) Victor: Male, Caucasian, 60 +. Tall, very thin. The Man in Black, a
living scarecrow/skeleton in a well pressed suit. He is the villain of
the story, and his presence hangs over the other principle characters
like a curse. He's evil, it's just that simple. 

6) Lawrence: Male, 25-40. Basically an inbred who's severely limited
capacity for thought revolves solely around stealing what other people
have. High-strung, violent and unpredictable. Will require prosthetic
makeup application to simulate skin burns. 

 Secondary 

 Men ages 30 -50 for Prospectors and assorted townsfolk. A few lines of
dialogue and/or featured only.
