adults (all levels).
Our new schedule begins on September 23th & goes through November 21st.
Remember - drop-ins are welcome at any time!

The following adult movement classes are open to the community, and are 
held at the MorrisonDance studio:
4201 Lorain Avenue, Ste. A ~ Cleveland, OH (corner of Lorain and W. 42nd 
in Ohio City)

Drop in at $10/class
class card $40 - good for any 5 classes in 2004 (that's $8 per class)

Please wear comfortable clothing - no special attire is necessary, be 
prepared to work in bare feet or socks. Door is open 10-15 minutes prior 
to classes.

BEGINNING ADULT BALLET: Thursdays, 6:15-7:30pm
Instructor: Kelly Postiy-Yager
A combination of classical and modern ballet techniques, this class will 
follow the traditional structure of barre, center adagio, petit allegro, 
turning combinations, travel across the floor, and grand allegro; 
finishing with a cool down. Please wear soft ballet shoes or socks.

MOVING BODY BASICS: Sundays, 1:30-2:45pm
Instructors: Maree ReMalia (10/3, 10/17, 10/31, 11/14); Sarah Morrison 
(9/26, 10/10, 10/24, 11/7, 11/21)
Designed especially for those of you who want to learn (or relearn) the 
basics of various dance and exercise techniques. A combination class, 
participants will learn body alignment and awareness through different 
dance forms and creative movement explorations. Open to all experience 
levels, appropriate for beginners AND professional performers to revisit 
their basics. GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR BODY'S POTENTIAL.

KUNDALINI YOGA: Sundays, 5:00-6:30pm (Kundalini is back at a new time)
Guest Instructor: Phyllis Frisa
Breathing techniques, postures, rhythmic movements, meditation and 
relaxation, are used so the student can learn to progressively awaken 
his or her highest potential as a human being. With a focus primarily on 
flow rather than on posture, there is no need to be an acrobat to enjoy 
this yoga style. Different sets of exercises will be taught to work on 
healing, balancing and strengthening the physical, emotional, mental and 
spiritual self. Some basic yoga science, concepts and lifestyle will 
also be introduced.
please come 15 minutes early if it is your first class, and bring a 
matt, pillow, or towel.

HIP-HOP/JAZZ FUNK: Sundays, 7:00-8:15pm
Instructor: Heather Baur
Based on jazz, hip-hop and a bit of modern. Focus will be on body 
isolations, precision, line and rhythm. Open to all men and women who 
want to get down!
