If you've read or watched MSNBC..you'd know that Asian Americans are getting a bad rap by some because they've changed the way we eat, dress, work and play. South Asians come to the US and they succeed by blending East and West and frankly...many (old school-ers) do not like that. Why is that so bad? 

WHO THE HELL KNOWS!?! I LOVE CULTURES and many times you can discover new things about yourself in the culture of others! They can't understand that our generation is BEYOND that. I DO dislike the fact that some asians and MANY non asian americans seem to stero-type the cultures for cash and PR--even in Ohio. There's so much more these cultures have to offer than just Ghandi and Bruce Lee. But that's another story for another time and hopefully...a director will bring that statement to light in a awesome film such as "Osama" or "Hero".

In the meantime and in that vain alone, I post this for all those interested in putting OHIO on the map with Asian and South Asian descent.

EXPOSURE FOR TALENTED SOUTH ASIAN AND ASIAN AMERICANS

Prominent and newly launched Asian American network (ImaginAsian TV, 19 W 44T STREET, 9TH FLOOR, NY, NY 10036 ) is looking for the following people for a new radio show that will be transmitted out of new york to the bay area, then expanding to areas of Ohio, Boston and Florida.

1. Host and Hostess
A dynamic duo is needed that has spunk, wit, intelligence and chemistry!! We are looking for Asian (Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino, Chinese) and South Asian (Indian) hosts for our radio show. Preferably in the 20-30 age group with the ability to chatter incessantly!!

Friday September 24 at our office from 2pm to 6 pm.
