Announcing auditions for
Canton's holiday traditional classic:
A Christmas Carol
at The Canton Players Guild
1001 Market Avenue North, Canton OH
The Canton Players Guild, in the Cultural Arts Center at 1001 Market
Avenue North in Canton, has announced the audition dates for their
holiday favorite "A Christmas Carol." R. Scott Posey of Tallmadge,
Ohio has been chosen as the Director for this year's production. He
brings a wealth of directing, acting and music experience throughout
Northern and Northeastern Ohio to the Guild's stage. The Music
Director is Steve Parsons of Canton and RaeJean Mordenti of
Massillon is the Choreographer. Auditions will be held starting at
6:30 PM on both Sunday and Monday, October 10 and 11.
The production is an area family tradition for performers and
audiences alike and will be presented in 15 performances
between the dates of November 26th and December 19th. Those
auditioning are asked to come prepared to sing a traditional Christmas
carol and should bring their own piano music for accompaniment.
An accompanist will be provided. All roles are open.
