Splitting Infinity, originally commissioned by Steppenwolf Theatre in
Chicago, was developed at the Women Playwrights Festival, A Contemporary
Theatre, Seattle WA, and American Conservatory Theatre's First Look Festival
in San Francisco CA. The play tells the story of a Nobel prize-winning
physicist who decides to go after evidence of God, through physics. As she
single-mindedly pursues her goal, she upsets the balance of her relationship
with Rabbi Saul Lieberman, her oldest and best friend, and her star
post-doctorate student, the child of a Christian Scientist.
