October 9 -24
On the day following 9/11/01 as the dust is still settling, a married man and
his mistress begin to see this tragedy as a chance to disappear......to be
dead to the world...to begin a new life. The story concerns Ben Harcourt who was
scheduled to attend a meeting at the World Trade Center on the morning of
9/11.However, instead of being at WTC he was having sex with this mistress Abbey,
in her Manhattan apartment. The following day he is still in Abbey's apartment
watching the devastating events unfold on television and consciously choosing
to ignore his mobile phone that is ringing in the background. He seizes upon
the terror attack as an opportunity to start a new life with his mistress and
to allow his wife and children to believe he died a hero in the attacks.
" An intelligent and thought-provoking drama"
