Chagrin Valley Little Theatre

Announces Design Contest Winners

October 8, 2004 :                     Andrew Weaver, an 8th grade =
student at Chagrin Falls Middle School was chosen as winner of the =
design contest conducted in recognition of the Chagrin Valley Little =
Theatre's 75th Anniversary Season.  As winner, Andrew received a $100 =
check, a certificate and complimentary tickets to a 75th Season =
production.

Andrew's work, with computer graphic enhancement by Darren Sinnett of =
Rising Star Graphic Design, is featured on the Theatre Playbill for the =
upcoming season, on a brochure outlining the season and on Theatre =
stationery for the 75th. He submitted a pencil sketch of spotlights over =
the Theatre stage with recognition of the 75th anniversary accented by =
theater masks.  Andrew learned of the design contest through an article =
in the Chagrin Valley Times.

Two runners-up were also chosen and received $50 awards.  Alexandra =
Graham, an 8 year old from Chagrin Falls submitted a crayon drawing =
depicting a billboard with all the different types of performances the =
Theatre offers along with a salute to the 75th Season.

Brittany Vazquez, a senior at Polaris Career Center submitted a colorful =
rendition of "It's the 75th" for her runner-up award.  Brittany's work =
was used both in advertising and as table decorations for the annual =
Murder By the Falls event.  Brittany is a student of Mike Takatch at =
Polaris.  All told, there were 30 entries in the design contest.
