at Harkness series (presented by the Case Music Department) this=20
Saturday, October 16 at 7:30 pm in Harkness Chapel. They'll perform=20
music from Renaissance Spain on a phenomenal array of instruments,=20
including:
=95 Renaissance & Baroque guitar
=95=A0Vihuela
=95 Renaissance harp
=95 Renaissance flute
=95 Recorders
=95 Bagpipes
=95 Sackbut (if you don't know what that is, then you MUST come!)
=95 Percussion and
=95 Voices (original Renaissance models)
The program -- "Dancing in the Shadow of the Cross" -- features songs,=20=
ballads and dances from Spanish Dominions in the 16th century. The=20
performers -- Tom Zajac, Grant Herreid, Christa Patton, Paul Shipper,=20
Nell Snaidas, and Karen Hansen -- are among the best performers of this=20=
repertoire in the world!
Tickets are normally $20 regular, $18 seniors, $10 students. But for=20
NEohioPAL, they're $15 for adults; $5.00 for students. Just mention=20
NEohioPAL at the door, and you'll get the discount. There's also a Q&A=20=
period after the concert.
