The first production of the 2004-2005 Case Western Reserve
University/Cleveland Play House Master's of Fine Arts Conservatory
Spotlight Series, David Rabe's Hurlyburly, will run October 13 - 23, 2004
in the historic Brooks Theatre.
Rabe's 1984 blistering Broadway sensation about life in the Hollywood Hills
during the mid-1980s was made into a film (Rabe also wrote the screenplay)
in 1998 starring Sean Penn, Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright Penn, Chazz
Palminteri, Garry Shandling, Anna Paquin and Meg Ryan.
The Spotlight Series features the MFA candidates in the Case/CPH joint
professional actors' training program. Now in their second year, the
candidates in the class of 2006 made their debut this past spring in the
critically acclaimed production of William Inge's Bus Stop.
General admission tickets are $10.00; $5.00 for Case students, faculty and
staff.
