October 12, 2004...Barberton, Ohio. The Magical Theatre Company Board of
Trustees announces the election of officers for the 2004-2005 season: Art
Bradnick is serving his final year as President, and Mark Paprocki is serving a
second year as Treasurer. Tim Papp and Cathy Bulgrin are serving their first
terms as Vice President and Secretary, respectively. The MTC Board also approved a
revised slate for terms of service.

Bradnick was CEO of Rockwell International/Barberton and Mayor of the City of
Barberton. Paprocki is currently Treasurer of Barberton City Schools, and
President of Downtown Barberton, Inc. Norton City Schools employ Cathy Bulgrin
as Treasurer/CFO, and she serves as the NE Region Director of Ohio Association
of School Business Officials. Tim Papp, AAMS, CFP heads the downtown
Barberton office of Edward Jones.

In order to more positively respond to the Company's significant growth in
recent years, the Board will look to the more than 200 Northeast Ohio
communities it serves for people willing to fill a number of available seats on the MTC
Board of Trustees. The task will be challenging.

"Most non-profit organizations are struggling with the same issue we are,"
report Holly Barkdoll and Dennis O'Connell, Co-Producing Directors. "There are
fewer, potential Board members because most adults work full-time, have active
family lives, and have less time for volunteer activities."

"But Magical Theatre Company is active in 19 Northeast Ohio counties," adds
Art Bradnick, " and we're looking to growth areas in Akron, North Canton,
Green, Wooster, Munroe Falls, Wadsworth, Independence, Broadview Heights,
Richfield, Walton Hills, and Medina for new Board members."

Tim Papp reports, "our Board has been reworking its focus. To accommodate
the hectic schedules of working adults, we've recently voted to hold quarterly
meetings for the full Board. Our executive committee will meet monthly to
conduct routine Company business. We're small, but mighty - and we really believe
in the Company's value to Northeast Ohio. We know there are others who share
this value for the performing arts."

Founded in 1972, Magical Theatre Company remains Northeast Ohio's only
professional resident and touring theatre for young and family audiences. The
Company's repertoire of classic, contemporary and new children's literature appeals
to schools and families annually because of how magnificently these works are
transferred from page to the stage.

Performing at the Park Theater on Alexander Common, Magical Theatre Company
has sustained recent growth in all program areas: touring, public and school
performances, workshops and residencies, and in outreach activities.

An increasing number of corporate leaders, arts patrons and educators value
Magical Theatre Company because the programs and projects reflect positive
themes, evoke heartfelt emotions, and inspire children to real-life achievements.

MTC programs have a profoundly positive impact on the life choices children
make. Extraordinary, individual accomplishments occur when Magical Theatre
Company is part of a child's life. Anyone interested in serving on the Magical
Theatre Company Board of Trustees can call 330.848.3708 to learn how they might
be part of this magical experience.
