*Here are three great events coming up for those who can't afford the gas to drive out of town and are looking for something rockin' going on in Medina!
 
MHS Fall Play Born Yesterday Thursday November 4 at 7:30 pm / Friday Nov. 5 at 8pm / Saturday Nov. 6 at 8pm There's a serious undercurrent to this comedy which features a crooked "businessman," junk dealer Harry Brock,who's in town to woo a senator, but fears his girlfriend Billie, a former chorus girl, isn't polished enough to fit in. He fails to recognize his own stupidity and lack of finesse as he hires a reporter to "educate" Billie. Eventually she begins questioning his dealings and puts him in his place.
 
Medina J.A.M Sessions, a non-denominational Christian rock-off in Medina Square. Saturday, November 6th from 1-4pm. Music (Rock, metal, jambands and gospel!) and fun from a variety of local bands, including Cidica, Asunder, and New Day Gospel Choir, just to list a few. Admission: FREE!
              
Neil Simon's hilarious play, Brighton Beach Memoirs , will be showing November 19th and 20th at Medina Performing Arts Center's Middle Stage. Tickets will be $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Show times are 8pm. Call (330) 636-3400 between the hours of 10am and 2pm for tickets.
      Synopsis: Eugene, a young teenage Jewish boy, recalls his memoirs of his time as an adolescent youth. He lives with his parents, his aunt, two cousins, and his brother, Stanley, whom he looks up to and admires. He goes through the hardships of puberty, sexual fantasy, and living the life of a poor boy in a crowded house.
