AFRICAN DANCE INSTRUCTOR WANTED BY DESTINY YOUTH ACADEMY

Destiny Youth Academy is now interviewing for an African Dance Instructor.  This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is training or trained to teach youth from the ages 5-18.  Although volunteer at this time we expect to receive funding to make this a paid position.

DYA intends to challenge the youth in the community to learn dance from the motherland.   Once organized we have the short-range goal of performing locally (festivals, churches, nursing homes.)  We also have long-term aspirations of developing a national touring ensemble.  We have applied for a 501 (c) (3) status with the intent to apply for federal, private and educational grants.

Destiny Youth Academy is a performing arts school.  We have dedicated instructors that are working to develop a full time program for our youth in the Akron area.  We have aligned ourselves with the San Diego Children’s Choir and the Boy’s Choir of Harlem.  They are both programs that started locally and now travel internationally spreading music from motivated and talented youth.  We hope to emulate their success.

We are interested in a motivated individual that loves kids and would like to come aboard and help to develop our program to a full time school.  Give us a call for an interview.
