This comedy has some of the most funny and unusual characters you will ever see. At first, the Sycamores seem crazy, but it is not too long before we realize if they are crazy, then the rest of the world must be even crazier. The plot shows how <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Alice</st1:place></st1:City> – the only “normal” Sycamore – falls in love with Tony, the son of a rich banker and his socialite wife. Fireworks fly – literally! – when <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Alice</st1:place></st1:City> brings Tony and his parents home to meet her nutty extended family. One of the most popular and hilarious plays of modern times, it won the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 1936.<o:p></o:p>

Rheba’s boyfriend. He’s on relief so he helps Rheba around the house.<o:p></o:p>

Patriach of the family, collects stamps and snakes and loves commencements.<o:p></o:p>
