WHO:  Standing Rock Cultural Arts

WHAT:  Cherokeee Storytelling and Traditional Food with Edwin George and
Dona Green

WHEN:  December 5, 2-4pm

WHERE:  237 N. Water St. Gallery "B" (Behind Judy's Photoshop)
-This is a new space that owner Steve Balazs has opened up to Standing Rock
Cultural Arts' Activities

COST:  Free

If you missed the opportunity in November to meet Cherokee folk artist,
Edwin George, on North Water Street in Kent, you will have another chance on
December 5th.  From 2-4pm, Edwin will present his stories and artwork to the
public.  Gallery "B" is located at 237 N. Water St, directly behind "Judy's
Photo Shop".  The door is in the alley.

Edwin, assisted by Dona Green will bring the rich folk lore of the Eastern
Band Cherokee to Kent.  The Eastern Band is located in Cherokee, North
Carolina surrounded by The Smoky Mountains.  Through detailed original art,
oral history, and traditional food, the audience will become immersed in
another time and culture.
