Notice

Looking for a male (50s, 60s) to play Lou Destefano an Italian father
(accent required) who tries to keep his family together after the departure
of his faithful son.  This key role offers a wide range of emotions
including a ballad sung in memory of his dear wife.  Rehearsals to begin
December 27th.

About the show

It is 1958--Mario Destafano is fed up with working in the family restaurant
on the West side of Cleveland.  After a bitter argument, he heads to Las
Vegas to follow his dream of being a musician.  Unfortunately, the bright
lights are filled with shady characters, a broken-down performer, and no
gigs.  Facing his pathetic circumstances with the help of an angelic friend,
Mario realizes how important his family is.  A jubilant reunion arises as
Mario returns home to the family he so missed.  Now the Destafano's are
together again--una famiglia!
