Here is my idea....

For those of you who would want to participate, I want to get a group of =
kids together (and adults) to go Christmas caroling most likely in the =
Old Brooklyn area.  A couple days before going out to sing, I am going =
to put a note on doors in the neighborhood or in mail boxes that the =
kids will be coming by to sing and also to collect new or like new =
blankets, coats, hats, scarves, gloves, etc. for the homeless.  I am =
also going to incorporate my Sunday School class if any of the parents =
want to participate.=20

Bryan and I and the boys (and anyone else) will hand out the items =
downtown to the homeless along with baked treats (I was thinking the =
playgroup could help me out with the cookies making some extra when we =
do our trade). When is that anyway?
Let me know who would like to be a part of it, the caroling will most =
likely be Friday the 17th.  Going downtown Saturday afternoon to =
distribute the items.=20

I am also looking into adopting a family through traditional housing, =
the only problem being there are so many families there and I wouldn't =
want to leave them all out.  Mrs. Jeannie, Christian's preschool =
teacher, thought it would be nice if the kids could go there to sing and =
hand out treats.  I'll let you know if we decide to do that.

Anyone wanting to join in let me know.  I thought this would be a good =
way to show the kids what Christmas is really about.

If anyone just wants to donate items, please contact me and I will make =
arrangements to pick them up.
