One giant wave of joy after another. That's the best description of this =
year's "Black Nativity" at Karamu Performing Arts Theatre. Terence =
Greene is at the directorial and choreographic helm of this year's =
production, with the musical supervision of Clifton Beasley, who leads =
an accompanying onstage combo of keyboard, drums and bass. Credit for =
the elaborate royal outfits in "O Come All Ye Faithful" and the =
congregation's realistic dress goes to Katherine Tobasko. Natasha Lee =
Colon and Michael Medcalf, performers with Cleveland Contemporary Dance =
Theatre, are excellent in the dancing roles of Mary and Joseph. (The =
company is now in residence at Karamu.) =20

- Zachary Lewis, Cleveland Plain Dealer

Discounts are available for AEA and CTC members. Student and senior =
citizen discounts are also available. Please call the Karamu House box =
