I just saw "Suessical" at the Beck on Saturday night and was quite
surprised at the number of available seats. We all need to support
theater in this area to keep it going, so I try to frequent as many
smaller and community theater productions as I can. "Suessical" was a
blast, contrary to what some critic might think. He must have eaten
sour grapes for dinner the night he went, because I did not see the same
production. The cast is just bursting with energy. They are having
such a good time up there, that the audience can't help but have a good
time themselves. The energy from the cast seems so genuine that you
feel they would not even need an audience to have such fun.

But the fact is they DO need an audience. Go see it, take your kids,
have a great time remembering the books you grew up with, or the books
that you are still reading to your kids. The cast is impeccable from
Mark Moritz as the Cat in the Hat, down to Suzanne Dieteman as the most
ideal Who! Call to reserve your tickets and enjoy!
