> For February Black History Month, Karamu's Youth Theatre is presenting a
one-act based on the tragic death of young 14 year old Emmett Till, brutally
murdered in Money, Mississippi in 1955, for allegedly whistling at a white
woman. His murder mobilized the Civil Rights movement. This powerful one-act
was written by Indiana playwright Nicole C. Kearney Cooper. It will be a
World Premier at Karamu.

prepared to rehearse 2-3 evenings during the week and most Saturdays.
