Karamu Performing Arts Theater is seeking actors for the following roles =
in its upcoming production of The Little Boy Who Shook Up The World: The =
Emmitt Till Story by Nicole Cooper.  Those interested should see =
Kimberly Brown, director, on Tuesday, December 28th at 7pm at Karamu. =20

Currently seeking: (4) Caucasian males, ages 16-25
                            (1) Caucasian female, age 16-25

Actors should prepare one 2 - 3 minute monologue. Actors should be =
prepared to rehearse 2-3 evenings during the week and most Saturdays.=20


For February Black History Month, Karamu's Youth Theatre is presenting a =
one-act based on the tragic death of young 14 year old Emmett Till, =
brutally murdered in Money, Mississippi in 1955, for allegedly whistling =
at a white woman. His murder mobilized the Civil Rights movement. This =
powerful one-act was written by Indiana playwright Nicole C. Kearney =
Cooper. It will be a World Premier at Karamu.
