hello again!

My name is Steven Probert and I am currently a fifth year student at the
Cleveland Institute of Art and I am working on my final thesis film based on
several of my own dreams.

I would like to thank those that helped thoughout this project and those
those that have responded to previous postings. I have been able to find
great actors through neopal, yet I still need to find a few more male actors
to complete the project.

to recap, this current project that I am working on is easily the largest
personal project I’ve ever worked on in terms of time, personal, and
professional involvement and I am looking forward to the final results. The
project will be a final film consisting of re-constructions of several of my
dreams. There are 7 small vignettes/dreams that I am planning to reconstruct
and film. Each has about 1-5 different actors. Most of these deal with
reconstructing the situations in my dreams at various locations ranging from
my apartment to my childhood home and with actors playing family members and
friends. The final film will be presented in a visual art context as i am
graduating this year with a Bachelor of fine arts degree

The actors that I am looking for are:

Caucasian 40-50 year male to play father

Caucasian 30-40 year male to play greenburg’s friend
Caucasian 50-60 year male to play dr. greenburg

Thank you for your time and consideration,
Steve Probert

below Ive included descriptions of the films and the parts

6. Greenburg’s Friend
Actors:
1. Protagonist: 20-25 man
2. Greenburg’s Friend: 50-60 man
3. Greenburg: 30-40 man
Action Synopsis: Protagonist awakened from bed by a knock at the door. He
answers the door and it is a friend of Dr. Greenburg who is sharing the
apartment with him. Greenburg’s friend enters the door and walks further
into the room. He is standing in front of the bed and asks if Greenburg is
there. He takes out a small gun looking object and aims it at the ceiling.
The ceiling begins to swell and drip with water and everything in the room
starts getting wet. Protagonist scrambles to protect his things from
getting wet and Greenburg’s friend wont stop laughing. He asks to see
Greenburg and walks around to the kitchen. Protagonist and Greenburg’s
friend are standing in the kitchen and Greenburg walks into the room
completely naked and greets his friend. Greenburg and his friend enjoy a
laugh at the destruction of protagonist’s belongings and he urges his friend
to take off his clothes so that he can be more comfortable and he agrees.
Greenburg invites his friend to see his lavishly remodeled room. They both
walk into the living room from the kitchen and protagonist follows. The
door to Greenburg’s room is positioned above protagonist’s couch as if to
use it as a stair or porch. Greenburg opens the door and the three of them
stand in an awkward silence. Through the doorway an expansive and lavish
room can be seen.

11. Projection Room
Actors:
1. Protagonist:
2. Dad: 40-50 male
3-7: 5 people sleeping in sleeping bags
Action Synopsis: Protagonist and father enter a dark institutional type
room. There are several large video projections along the walls.
Protagonist and father stop to look at one of the projections and the father
is excited by the images. They turn around and notice that several people
are lying on the floor in sleeping bags. On their heads, they have wires
that are connecting them to the projectors and displaying their dreams. The
father is excited about the possibility of seeing his own dreams projected
and they lay down on the floor together in sleeping bags.
