The December tsunamis are, deservedly, in the headlines right now.  =
BUT--I'm asking your help with another, ongoing crisis.

Franklin Circle Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in Cleveland, =
holds a benefit coffeehouse featuring guest musicians the third Saturday =
of each month, to help those in their NearWestSide neighborhood with =
emergency needs (i.e., food, shelter, utilities, medical, etc.).  The =
church is located in a "less-than-affluent" section of what has recently =
been named "the poorest city in America."

Well, I'm January's "guest musician" and I'm hoping you'll come out for =
this evening of good music and good fun for a good cause.  =20
Admission is FREE--but it is hoped that you can donate $10 per person to =
the freewill offering which will be taken that night.  (Please come and =
give whatever you can--whether only to lend your voice and your =
presence, to part with just a dollar or two, or to give more than $10.)

The first hour (7-8 p.m.) will feature my original songs; the second =
hour (you guessed it:  8-9 p.m.!) will include standards, songs of =
romance, a variety of classic chart hits (country, folk, pop/rock), =
sing-alongs (YAY!!)...and even some requests!

So plan now to join us for what promises to be an evening of =
spirituality, just-plain-fun and helping others in our own community.  =
(Can't attend?  Then please, send a donation to Franklin Circle =
Christian Church with "Third Saturday Coffeehouse" written on the memo =
line of your check.)
