The TrueNorth Symphony had a successful concert debut in December in Avon
Lake under the direction of Jim Traxler, as part of the TrueNorth Chorale
and Symphony Christmas Concert.

We are now seeking to grow our membership in preparation for a TrueNorth
Symphony Concert in May, exact date to be determined. The vision for
TrueNorth Symphony is to perform the great symphonic works of medium
difficulty, while allowing our members to grow in musicianship and ensemble,
in a spiritually encouraging environment. We are a volunteer orchestra, but
count many professional musicians among our ranks, who love and support the
establishment of a quality symphonic program for the western Cleveland area.

We also exist to support TrueNorth Chorale in concert, and all the TrueNorth
Cultural Arts programs under the direction of Rick Fortney. Please visit
our website at www.TNCArts.org for more information.

The TrueNorth Symphony rehearses on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:15 at the
TrueNorth Studio at 33483 Lake Road in Avon Lake (across from the CEI power
plant). Examples of current repertoire in rehearsal include "Eine Kleine
Nachtmusik" by Mozart, "Symphony #40 in G Minor" by Mozart, and "Slavonic
Dances" by Dvorak. Membership is by informal audition after sitting in on a
rehearsal or two.

Please call or e-mail Jim Traxler for more information.
