[NEohioPAL]WANTED: Theater Operations Manager for the NEW Ground Floor Improv Theater

The Theater Operations Manager is responsible for all front-
of-house activities, including hiring and scheduling all 
bartenders, wait staff, ushers, etc., managing day-to-day 
operations of the bar and kitchen (including ordering 
inventory and supplies), souvenir sales (including ordering 
stock), organizing special events held at the theater, and 
organizing class space for the training center. It also 
includes hiring and scheduling all box office personnel and 
ordering ticket stock. 

The Theater Operations Manager is also responsible for the 
activities associated with facility management, including 
ensuring that all utility systems are fully operational and 
inspected in accordance with preventative maintenance 
schedules. Also preparing cost estimates for building or 
space renovations, and inspecting completed work for 
conformance to specifications. Scheduling and supervising 
janitorial services. Managing facility issues as they arise 
and implementing a plan for immediate resolution. 
Coordinating with landlords for resolutions to facility 
issues that are the landlords' responsibility. Working with 
landlords and outside vendors/suppliers to manage site 
facility issues and preventative maintenance. Ensuring 
seating area is adequately prepared for each performance or 
special events (cleanliness, programs on tables, etc.).

Lastly, responsible for office management, including 
maintaining all business-related records, sending out media 
kits, maintaining all cash control functions and reconciling 
revenue, and maintaining all files and correspondence.

Salary is open.

The Ground Floor Improv Theater is a new theater, bar, and 
training center that is scheduled to open in the next few 
months on Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights. The Theater 
Operations Manager would start prior to opening.
