THE WORLD GOES ROUND AT SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Solon Center for the Arts is proud to present it's third show in the =
2004-2005 Theater Season, The World Goes Round, a musical with heart, =
wit and passion.=20

=20

When you're hot, you're hot! The legendary team of Jewish composers John =
Kander and lyricist Fred Ebb has been spinning 'round for four decades. =
This glittering musical revue of song and dance celebrates the =
exceptional and much-loved gems from Chicago, Cabaret, Funny Lady, Zorba =
and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Filled with humor, romance and brassy =
insightful lyrics, the show is a thrilling celebration of life and the =
fighting spirit that keeps us all going!

Starring Joanna May Hunkins, Suzanne Davis, Sharilee Walker, Dan =
Hendrock and Ron Davis, under the direction of Jacqi Loewy, with musical =
direction by Karen Prasser, The World Goes Round is a musical theater =
gem sure to make you laugh and cry.=20

Ms. Loewy has performed on Broadway, National TV, in film and regional =
theater. She has experience with improvisation (Second City), as an =
acting coach, on-camera technique teacher, TV production, writer, =
producer, dance teacher and costumer. Ms. Loewy is an Adjunct Faculty =
member in Dance and Theater at University of Akron, Lake Erie College =
and Case Western Reserve University.

Ms. Prasser's professional music career spans the globe as a pianist and =
conductor for opera and ballet companies for 16 years. Today, her most =
important role is that of the Executive Director of SCA. In addition to =
her musical career, Karen has extensive experience in arts =
administration and management. She is also the Music Director for Gloria =
Dei Lutheran Church in Hudson.
