Magical Theatre Company, the only professional resident and touring theatre 
for young audiences and families in Northeast Ohio, presents the work of one of 
America's greatest authors live onstage.  John Steinbeck's The Pearl, 
provides a great moral lesson in the pursuit of wealth.  When an impoverished Mexican 
fisherman finds the pearl of his dreams, he and his family "suffer slings and 
arrows of outrageous fortune."  Desire, envy, and greed conspire to shatter 
their peaceful lives.  Directed by Dennis O'Connell and featuring Northeast 
Ohio professional actors James Mango (founder of Charenton Theatre), Adam Hoffman
, Gary Taylor, Richard O. Gaekle, Cassandra Capocci, and Lisa Marie Schueller, 
The Pearl plays one weekend for the public, January 28-30, The Friday and 
Saturday performances are @ 8:00pm.,   Sunday @ 2:00pm. Tickets are $10 per 
person. Opening Night (January 28th) tickets are $12.00 per person and include a 
post-performance reception. Magical Theatre Company is located at 565 W. 
Tuscarawas Avenue in Barberton, Ohio. Individual and group reservations are available
