MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS

Magic Time
Written by James Sherman
March 4-19
Magic Time is an engaging, dramatic comedy about a troupe of actors preparing to give their last performance of Hamlet… and, cleverly, the backstage relationships mirror those onstage. As funny as it is heartwarming, Magic Time offers a glimpse of what the audience doesn’t usually see: a “behind the scenes” look at the lives and relationships of the actors themselves.
Bonus Show: Neil Simon’s
A Visitor from Forest Hills

Play On!
Written by Rick Abbot
May 6-21
Play On! is a hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty authoress who keeps revising the script. From the dreadful rehearsals to the disastrous performance, the audience is treated to a madcap romp in which anything that can go wrong does.

Blithe Spirit
Written by Noel Coward
September 9-24
A smash comedy hit of London and Broadway stages, Blithe Spirit tells how a novelist invites an eccentric medium to his home to get ideas for a story – but instead of ideas, he gets more than he bargained for. The ghostly plot unfolds when the hero unintentionally summons his first wife from beyond the grave; she then commences to tease and torment her husband and his new wife. Blithe Spirit is touted as “hilariously funny, brilliant, clever, and about as cockeyed as a play can be.”

YOUTH THEATER

A Little Princess -- The Musical
Book by Vera Morris
Music/Lyrics by Bill Francoeur
July 15-24
This engaging musical adaptation of the classic by Frances Hodgson Burnett opens with a happy Sara Crewe, heiress to a large fortune. Enrolled at Miss Minchin's seminary in Victorian England, her life takes a dramatic turn when she receives news of the loss of her father... and her fortune. Sara is forced by the greedy Minchin to become a servent and live in a wretched attic room. When a mysterious gentleman from India moves next door, curious things begin to happen.

Theater Camp provides a week of fun, educational activities where school-aged participants learn all aspects of theater from credentialed teachers.
