The North Canton Playhouse, Center for the Performing Arts, has cast the 
A.R. Gurney romantic comedy, “Sylvia.”  This production will be presented on 
February 11 – 27, 2005 in the Studio at 525 7th Street, NE, North Canton (on 
the campus of Hoover High School.)



Director Barbara Oleksa has assembled a cast of six actors, who will bring 
this romantic comedy about a marriage and a dog to life.  Tessa Saylor is 
featured as Sylvia – the street-smart Lab/Poodle mix.  Michael Broughton 
portrays Greg, the husband, and Peg Monteleone is Kate, the wife.  Other 
cast members include Mark Monteleone, Tim Charlton, Jr. and Joe Susick.  
Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $9.00 for students and seniors.
