In Talking With...eleven characters expose their inner most secret =
thoughts and experiences as they speak from the depths of their souls. =
Sometimes they will amuse, move and frighten you, but always their =
intent is sincere and poignant.=20

This series of diverse monologues present an eclectic ensemble of women =
that range from a woman fascinated with lamps, an evangelical snake =
charmer, a "marked" woman, a housewife lost in Oz, an ex-rodeo rider, a =
woman who saw a man healed by a Big Mac, to an actress willing to go to =
any length to get a part in a play.

"With Jane Martin, the monologue has taken on a new poetic form, =
intensive in its method and revelatory in its impact"?Philadelphia =
Inquirer. A 1982 winner of the American Theatre Critics Association =
Award for Best Regional Play, Talking With... will surely leave =
audiences "talking" long after the final curtain. =20
