Arts in the Cathedral Young Artists' Showcase


Church of the Saviour in Cleveland Heights is pleased to announce its first
annual Arts in the Cathedral Young Artists' Showcase. The showcase is
designed to provide public recognition and encouragement for serious young
musicians in northern Ohio.

Instrumentalists in grades 10-12 whose permanent home is in northern Ohio
are invited to audition. Applicants must have a minimum of 3.5 years of
private study on their instrument.


The application includes a completed application form, a letter of
recommendation from their private teacher, and a CD or cassette tape
containing 1 selection recorded within the last six months. The application
deadline is March 15, 2005.


Finalists will be invited to a live audition which will be held April 17,
2005 at Church of the Saviour in Cleveland Heights.


Approximately 8 winners will be invited to perform in the public Arts in the
Cathedral Young Artists Showcase on Sunday, June 5th at 3:00 p.m. in the
magnificent gothic sanctuary at Church of the Saviour in Cleveland Heights.
Winners will receive a $150 stipend.
