AUDITIONS FOR "I REMEMBER MAMA"

Auditions held on FEBRUARY 21 & 22 from 7:00 - 9:00pm at the Geauga Theater
Annex (2nd Floor of the Caldwell Banker Building), 106 Water Street,
Chardon, OH  (440-285-7701).

We are looking for:
*Several male and female adults of varying ages.
*Teenage girl to play ages 16 and 18.
*Teenage girl to play ages 14 and 16.
*Girl between the age of 8 and 10.
*Boy between the age of 8 and 10.
*Various other teenagers.

This classic play by John Van Druten,  based on the stories from Mama's Bank
Account by Kathryn Forbes, chronicles the experiences of a Norwegian
immigrant family in San Francisco, held together by a sweet and capable
matriarch. The family's colorful characters furnish the background for a
great deal of comedy, some incidental tragedy and a healthy dose of warm
hearted family turmoil.  The Broadway play inspired the popular 1948 film
starring Irene Dunne, which in turn spawned the TV series, Mama, which ran
on CBS from 1949-57.

This is a GEAUGA LYRIC THEATER GUILD PRODUCTION. All performances will be at
the GEAUGA THEATER in Chardon.  Show dates are: April 22, 23, 29, 30 and May
6, 7 at 8:00pm; May 1 and May 8 (Mother's Day) 2:00pm Matinee.
