The Great Lakes Medieval Faire



Auditions for the 2005 cast will be held on Sunday March 6th starting at =
noon at the Old Tavern in Unionville.


We are currently seeking actors of all ages to help bring the faire to =
life. =20

Mission Statement:=20

Phoenix Productions commitment is to provide enjoyable, safe, and =
affordable family entertainment for all and is dedicated further to =
provide our audiences with a completely unique theatrical experience.  =
Through use of advanced audience interaction techniques, we will reach =
out to our guests and bring them through the fourth wall into a place of =
wonder an excitement. =20



Location:

      The Great Lakes Medieval Faire is located on State Route 534 off =
Ohio I-90, seven miles south of the Geneva exit.

Rehearsals:             Mid April through June, Saturdays and Sundays

                                   =20

      Rehearsals for the cast will include extensive college level =
training in improvisation, street performance techniques, character =
development, movement, voice and dialect workshops. The purpose of our =
acting company is to bring the village of Avaloch to life. When not on =
stage, the performers are in the streets performing improvisational =
skits and interacting in character with our guests.

Performance Dates:

The Great Lakes Medieval Faire is open July 2nd through August 7th.

Every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am until 7 pm.

Auditionees are asked to prepare a one minute monologue of any style or =
period. A modern piece may be best suited to show your abilities. =
Shakespeare is not necessary. We want to see you in your best possible =
light, so find something that allows you to shine. Those who would like =
to be considered for singing roles should also prepare a very short =
acapella song.
