Tom and Susana Evert Dance Theatre

Husband-Wife duo Tom and Susana Evert will perform a series of their
classic works as well as new material choreographed specifically for
MOCA. Hailed by The New York Times as "amazingly inventive," The
Everts are known for incorporating non-traditional elements into their
work such as elaborate costumes, original sculptures and unique props.


Their program consists of two Cleveland premieres including EGO ACT, a
solo by Mr. Evert accompanied by a George Crumb score (performed by
Kronos Quartet) and ONCE MORE...NOT, a solo by Mrs. Evert with music
from Squarepusher and The Mars Volta. Additionally, the Everts will
perform TRUE WATER (a work in progress), a duet with music by The
Empire Brass Quintet.

A creative extravaganza inspired by the art
of filmmaking

7:30 pm Enjoy a special preview of The NightOwls of Coventry, a funny
and touching look at the happenings inside a Cleveland Heights
all-night deli. Shot in Cleveland. Meet filmmaker Laura Paglin in a
Q&A session after the movie.

10 pm It's a night filled with film, friends and fun. Fast Forward:
Cirque du Cinema will feature experimental short films, SIGGRAPH
animation videos, digital art by Cleveland Institute of Art students,
live music, DJ, dancing, cash bar and refreshments.

conversation. Harvey, like Jonsson, often uses landscape in his work
and is well known in Ohio as both and artist and educator. Join us for

July's films have been screened at the Wexner Center for the Arts, the
Walker Art Center, the Whitney Museum and various national and
international film festivals. At the CIFF, MOCA will be screening a
collection of 4 abstract narratives by July including: The Amatuerist,
Getting Stronger Every Day, Nest of Tens and Haysha Royko. Speaking on
July's works after the films will be Julia Bryan-Wilson, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Contemporary Art and Visual Culture at Rhode
Island School of Design.

The 29th Cleveland International Film Festival runs March 10 a 19,
2005.
