The 13th Annual R. Joyce Whitley Arena Festival of New Plays in honor of the late R. Joyce Whitley, who was a major performer and contributor to Karamu House will open March 7, 2005.  Ten exciting plays have been selected and readings will take place weeknights between March 7 and March 18.
 
Auditions are being held Friday, February 25 from 6pm - 8pm, and Saturday February 26 from 11am to 1pm.  
 
 
Several men & women are needed, from age 20 through 65.  
For some of the plays, a Southern dialect is preferred.
Actors should prepare a 2-3 minute monologue.
Actors should bring current headshot and resume.
 
Rehearsal dates & times are at the director's discretion.
