The Players Guild Theatre is seeking a full time Costumer

The Players Guild Theatre in Canton, Ohio is seeking a full time costumer to 
work with the theatre's resident professional staff. Responsibilities will 
include working with Designer Joshua Erichsen to:
        - Gather fabrics and materials
        - Building, pulling, buying and renting costumes for each production
        - Overseeing volunteer costume staff and supervising dressers
        - Taking actor measurements and overseeing fittings
        - Working with the stage managers and directors to make adjustments
        - Attending early rehearsals as necessary and all dress rehearsals
        - Maintaining and managing the shop, the supplies and the equipment
        - Organizing and cataloging the costume stock

Qualifications should include:
        - Bachelors degree or equivalent job experience
        - Good knowledge of patterning, cutting and tailoring
        - Excellent sewing skills
        - Basic knowledge of wig making and millinery crafts
        - Good interpersonal, organization and communication skills
        - Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team
        
The start date for this position will be July 1, 2005. All resumes will be
