=91CRIMES OF THE HEART=92 AUDITIONS AT SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Solon Center for the Arts announces auditions for Crimes of the Heart on =
Tuesday, March 15 and Wednesday, March 16 from 6:00 =96 8:00 pm.

Crimes of the Heart, by Beth Henley, directed by Jacqi Loewy, is set in =
Hazlehurst, Mississippi, five years after Hurricane Camille. Ultimately, =
the play is about how the three maladjusted Magrath sisters escape the =
past to seize the future =96 so true and touching and funny that you will =
remember it long after the performance is over.=20

Roles are available for 4 women ages 20-35 and 2 men ages 22-35. Actors =
should have a believable Southern accent and be familiar with the play. =
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Performances are =
May 6 through May 21.=20

Auditions will be held at Solon Center for the Arts by scheduled appointmen=

Director Jacqi Loewy (SCA=92s The World Goes =91Round) has directed to =
critical acclaim at several professional theatres in Cleveland and also at =
the area=92s top community theatres (Weathervane, Player=92s Guild, =
Youngstown Playhouse). Originally from New York, she has Broadway and Off =
Broadway credits both onstage and off. She performed in a 1985 Off =
Broadway revival of Crimes of the Heart. She is currently the Education =
Director for the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival and a busy actress =
represented by The Docherty Agency. Crimes of the Heart is produced by =
special arrangements with Dramatists Play Services.=20
