Akron, OH - Carousel Dinner Theatre has just announced that its Fall
2005 production of FOOTLOOSE, playing September 14 - November 12, will
be staged by the Emmy-winning, Tony-Nominated Broadway
director/choreographer, A.C. Ciulla.

Ciulla was nominated for a Tony and Outer Circle Critics Award for
Broadway's Hit Musical, FOOTLOOSE and won the 1999 FANY (People's Choice
Award) for Best Choreography. Ciulla followed up with the hugely
successful Japanese version of FOOTLOOSE, running two seasons in Tokyo
with Japan's biggest pop stars.=20

Carousel is thrilled to have Ciulla on board for the show, "A.C. is one
of the most exciting and talented choreographers on Broadway," said
Carousel Artistic Director, Sean Cercone. "This is another step in the
sweeping positive changes that the theatre has experienced over the past

quality of Broadway talent to our audiences," said Cercone.

Instead of the late seventies/early eighties look of the film, Carousel
will set the musical in modern day, with contemporary costuming and
sets.

be re-creating Dean Pritchford and Walter Bobbie's revised book of this
infectious musical for the Carousel - with my goal being to get Carousel
