The Asian/Pacific American Federation (A/PAF) at its annual celebration
of Asian heritage will observe the 60th anniversary of the ending of
World War II by honoring all Asian American war veterans.  We want to
expand our honorees not only for WWII veterans, but all those who served
during the Korean, Vietnam and all the other conflicts up to the
present.  We will include all those who fought with the American forces
overseas such as the Vietnamese and Koreans.  Included in the
recognition will be those who worked on farms and war plants,  replacing
those who went into service.

By honoring those who have served in, or supported the military, we will
demonstrate publicly that A/PA's have made a significant contribution to
our nation.  The impact of this program will be directly proportional to
the number of veterans and supporters who will attend the Heritage Day
program.

Heritage Day will be on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at the Cleveland City
Hall Rotunda.  The program will be approximately between 1:00 to 5:00pm.
