The City of Shaker Heights is featuring a painting collection of Jennifer A.
Rohrer at the Shaker Community Building, 3450 Lee Road, Monday - Friday,
8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. through April 21.  Ms. Rohrer will host an open house
at the Shaker Community Building on Sunday, March 20 from 2-4 p.m.

Ms. Rohrer, an Ohio native, grew up surrounded by farmland.  Her love for
the connectedness to nature is expressed through her work.  Her studies
abroad influences her work with time spent in Italy, Costa Rica, Greece,
Japan, Germany and Spain.  In 2002, Jennifer studied in Japan with a
scholarship from the Fulbright Memorial Fund.  Last year, Ms. Rohrer lived
in Bonn, Germany and was granted an artist visa which provided her the
opportunity to paint, exhibit and sell her work.  Her works were exhibited
at the Gingko Museum in Weimar, Germany.

Ms. Rohrer relocated to Shaker heights in August, 2004 and is continuing her
career as a visual artist. She offers private art lessons to children and
adults, teaches after school classes at Art House. For more information and
