NYC SUBLET

A colleague and friend of mine (Erika Rolfsrud) needs a subletter. Here's the info:

Hey, y'all! I hope this email finds you all collectively well and thriving!

I am heading off to Philadelphia for 9 weeks to work at the Wilma Theatre (the play is Outrage, relatively new, and quite good, I must say...). I need a subletter and so I thought I'd shoot around one of those wonderful mass emails to look for a li'l help from my friends!

Here's the scoop on Casa De Rolfsrud:

Large, sunny studio in Innwood neighborhood (north of Washington Heights). From April 15th to June 19th. $775.39/month in rent. Con Ed is $58/month and the phone ranges in the neighborhood of $35 to $55/month, depending on your calling whims that month. I'd like a $100 deposit that'll be returned to my subletter at the end of the gig. End of the "A" train (express) and also accessible on the 1/9 (215th Street stop). And while the grocery stores aren't at Whole Foods' level, there is the Great Bastion of Civilization, a Target, just across the river from me, just a 10 minute walk from my door (and yes, I've timed it! If you don't get there that fast then you're walking too slow, darn it!! Heh heh heh...). You have a lovely wee park just one apartment building down from my door (Isham Park) and the larger, lovely Innwood Hill park just three blocks West of my apartment. It's quiet and the neighbors are great in my building. Laundry in the basement, or if you prefer, there's a
laundromat in either direction (the one on 207th Street has a drop-off service, I believe). I'd love to have someone neat, not a big partier/noise maker (I have a reason, which I can explain more when I meet whomever is interested). And if they're willing to forward me my mail in pre-paid, pre-addressed envelopes, I'll knock $25 off the top of the rent. My preference is to have a female subletter, but am willing to chat with the fellas about it as well. Note: I have a cat, and he's coming with me. But if someone is highly allergic to cats, I just wanted to warn you up front. Cat aura (and fur) are about in the House of Rolfsrud... though I will be giving the place a good scrub-down before I depart.

I think that's all I need to let you know... if I've left something major out, please let me know. They can either email me at erikarolfsrud at yahoo.com or call my cell at 646-221-6233.

Thanks everyone!!! Much love and good fortune to everyone!!!

Erika
