SUMMER CAMP AUDITIONS
for 
teens!

Fine Arts Association's

Young Actors Ensemble

is a summer program for students who are ready to make a more serious committment to the craft of theatre performance. 

The ensemble meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-5:30pm for six weeks beginning on June 21, 2005. The Young Actors Ensemble will have 2 performances of their showcase on Tuesday, August 2, and Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 7:30pm in our Shadowbox Theatre. 

In order to give more individual attention to each student, enrollment is LIMITED to only 12-20 students. 

ALL ability levels will be considered. The student's depth of dedication to learning about the craft of theatre will be considered in the selection process. 

Areas of focus: 
Acting Technique
Musical Theatre Performance Technique
Movement/Physicality
Ensemble Building

The program is open to students who will be entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2005 and recent 2005 high school graduates. 

Audition date:
Saturday, April 9, 2005 1:00-6:00pm in the Shadowbox Theatre.
There is an additional audition date on Saturday, April 30, 2005 for those who can't make the April 9 auditions. 
Call the FAA registration desk at 440-951-7500 for an appointment. 

Audition preparation: 
*Student must prepare a 1 minute monologue (must be memorized).
*Student must prepare 16-18 bars of a song. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided.
*Dress comfortably for movement. 

Camp fees: $275.00 per student plus registration fees. 

Fine Arts Association is located at 38660 Mentor Ave. (on the campus of The Andrews School) in Willoughby.
