OPERA CIRCLE
Presents Young Mozart’s “Dream” Opera
IL SOGNO DI SCIPIONE

Mozart was only 16 years old when he completed Il sogno di Scipione (The Dream of Scipione). Full of youthful temperament, this rarely performed masterpiece overflows with the astounding music of a true genius: a child prodigy who was indeed a fully accomplished composer. Presented in the innovative spirit of Opera Circle, greater Cleveland will see this remarkable work three times:

·	Friday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, Cleveland Heights (2747 Fairmount Boulevard, Ohio 44106)

·	Friday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Valley Lutheran Church, Chagrin Falls (87 East Orange Street, Ohio 44022)

·	Sunday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Church in the Slavic Village of Cleveland (3649 East 65th Street, Ohio 44105)

Il sogno di Scipione is Opera Circle’s 5th Mozart production, following The Abduction from the Seraglio (1998), Il re pastore (2002), Zaide (2003) & Così fan tutte (2004). Presented complete with costumes, props, & staging, the upcoming opera welcomes new talent in Opera Circle—Samuel Levine, tenor, as well as Christina Vernon & Amanda-Joyce Abbott, sopranos—side by side with the acclaimed voices of Dorota Sobieska, John Camuso, & Troy Ayers. The outstanding cast is joined by chamber orchestra under the baton of Artistic Director Jacek Sobieski & the chorus of Forest City Singers under the direction of Virginia Mast. Supertitles in English will help everyone fully understand & enjoy the story. In a performance out to claim your heart & enchant your imagination, Il sogno di Scipione is bound to bring the bright world of young Mozart to life.

Tickets are $15 general admission & $5 students. Reserved seating for sponsors ($55) is also available. For information, call Opera Circle at (216) 441 2822 or visit www.operacircle.org
