Noises Off is not one play but two: simultaneously a traditional sex farce, Nothing On, and the backstage “drama” that develops during Nothing On’s’ final rehearsal and tour. The two begin to interlock as the characters make their exits from Nothing On only to find them selves making entrances into an even worse nightmare that’s happening backstage. At the disastrous final performance, the two plots can be kept separate no longer, and coalesce into a single collective nervous breakdown

Noises Off runs for 5 performances; April 15, 16, 22, 23 at 8pm and Sunday, April 24 at 2pm in Kulas Auditorium on the campus of John Carroll University. Tickets are $7. For ticket information either email Martin Friedman at martinfriedman98 at yahoo.com or call 216.397.4428.
