Join us at Cleveland IndieClub Monthly Networking Meeting - April 17,

The Cleveland IndieClub (part of the worldwide Indieclub.com with over
200,000 members) meets every month free of charge for those who have the
passion for making movies using film or video (whether it is in acting,
directing, producing, writing, lighting or any other skill) and are
looking for others who have similar interests. Cleveland IndieClub is
administrated by Johnny K. Wu and generally hosted each month by their
members, this offers each an opportunity mold a meeting of variety of
interest and topic.

Guest speaker: William A. Alexander
William Alexander established his movie production company, Travelin'
Light Productions, in the spring of 2002 while in the planning phases of
his first feature length movie project, the science fiction thriller
titled "Shades." Starring Stormin Freeley, Sora Kim-Johnson, Lisa McKay
and George Butiri, "Shades" premiered at the Ohio Independent Film
Festival in November of 2004. While putting the finishing touches on
"Shades," William began writing his second feature length movie, the
thriller titled, "Dead Silent," which stars Daniela Mangialardo and
William Norton. "Dead Silent" went into production in September of 2004
and is now nearing completion. 
 
George Butiri will show his feature film Alone plus opening to questions
and comments from anyone who attends. He will be very opened to
criticism on the film itself, as far as lighting, sound, musical score,
direction of photography, and many other technical things about the
film. He is also going to talk about how he started in making film and
finished his feature. Guest speaker will be William A. Alexander, the
man who inspired George to start down the writing/producing/directing
path. 
 
In addition, We will screen and discusss short films, scenes, and
trailers from:
 
- Christine Chapman's re-edited short Twenty First Century
- William Alexander's first short film
- George Butiri's first short film
- Bill Nardi's Music Video
